Review of The Spy Who Came In from the Cold (1965) by Matthew B — 17 Feb 2009
This is a good movie displaying what it was like during the cold war, a feeling and social atmosphere that my generation cannot relate to... What I like most though is the revealed underbelly of life as a a spy.
Trusting no-one, despised by the very people you're serving, and always alone. Poignant and tragic, this is a heartfelt story showing the general populace just how much sacrifice was made to protect the "free world" from the eastern powers, this time in the form of the Soviet Republic.
I'm really glad I watched this film.
