Review of The Spy Next Door (2010) by Amirul Adam A — 03 Aug 2011
A kids film full of the predictable jokes and cliche story. The russian accents are terrible and the kids are incredibly unrealistic. They moan and overact in the typical Hollywood kid way and it makes you want to decapiate them.
the mother is also irritatingly urealistic. Who, in all thier sanity, would still be smiling in the cheesy, TV-commercial style after being woken up by children jumping on them? The jokes are also quite unfunny and poorly timed.
Still, Jackie Chan makes the film more enjoyable because how can you not like him? However, that doesn't mean that you should watch the film. Try to avoid this dire piece of work.
