Review of The Spook Who Sat by the Door (1973) by Private U — 20 Apr 2008
This gets 5 stars just because of the premise. Various blackmen get recruited by the C.I.A. mainly because of affirmative action & a quota. None are expected to make it, but one does. He basically is there as a copy specialist, yeah they got the n*gga making copies.
He leaves after about a decade to work in the black community, where he organizes the street gangs and transforms them into an underground black militia. Oh & the book by the Great Sam GreenLee is worth reading as well.
