Even though The Spongebob Squarepants Movie isn't in the top ten list of the greatest animated films of all time, it;s still very entertaining, very funny and very unique. It is also the last good thing Spongebob ever had.
The new episodes starting from season 4 are mediocre and are not on par with seasons 1-3.
