It's a perfectly fine movie but didn't bring anything cinematic to the table to warrent a theatrical release rather than a TV airing. I think the first Spongebob movie did that better than this but like I said it is perfectly fine for what it is.
It is more of an extended episode than a movie but it has some nice laughs and people (like myself) who grew with the series or watch it today will enjoy revisiting these characters. Nothing revolutionary but perfectly fine.
