Review of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015) by Brandon A — 30 Jan 2016

Cute movie, a little dry in the beginning, but gets a little better over the course of the movie. I'am disappointed in the humor, wasn't even close to making me totally laugh. Was kind of like watching Star Wars The Phantom Menace, in a way it kept you in it, but was sort of bored at times.

It seem like the audience they were aiming for was much younger family's and a really young audience. Should been a broader audience, since I grew up with the show, since 1999. But Nicklodean, and Paramount Pictures, wasn't thinking about their past audience, and more of their new audience, should of done a mixture of both, like they did in the first film.

But overall the film was enjoy able, but also at the same time disappointing, hopefully if they make a new one, in the near future, it will be for a broader audience.
