Review of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015) by Lloyd S — 19 Dec 2015
The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water is a sequel to the 2004 movie, The Spongebob SquarePants Movie. When I first watched this film, I hated it. I don't know why, but I just did. I watched it again with my little cousin, and I liked it a lot more.
This movie is stupid and has horrendous CGI, but it's funny and entertaining with much rememberable scenes. The humor in here is great and succeeds at being actually funny. The movie starts off with Plankton trying to steal the Krabby Patty formula, and we get about 10 minutes of warfare between Plankton and SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mr.
Krabs. The formula then magically and mysteriously disappears out of Spongebob's hands, and Plankton and SpongeBob bark on a journey to find the formula, learning the meaning of teamwork, and getting into some dangerous, but hilarious situations, including meeting a magical slaved dolphin.
Overall, it's pretty much a 90 minute episode of SpongeBob.
