I began watching this feeling it couldn't possibly be as bad as the reviews made out... but... yeah, it is. Dick Tracy mixed with the very worst elements of the Joel Schumacher Batman movies would be a good description, with the other part of the formula - the Sin City inspired visual style - being the movie's only saving grace, as it does LOOK great.
Ultimately though, this is simply a wretched, nonsensical, campy film noir... and every bit as bad as that sounds.
