Review of The Spirit (2008) by Cameron J — 04 Sep 2011
Seems like after the success of "Sin City", comic book writer Frank Miller decided to give the same type of treatment to Will Eisner's character "The Spirit". And while "The Spirit" looks a lot like "Sin City" in it's visual style, everything else is absolutely crap.
The characters are dumb, the jokes are not funny, the plot is all over the place and the acting is horrible (and the film features Samuel L. Jackson & Scarlett Johansson). "Batman & Robin" is better than this movie, yes, I went there and it's true.
