This film is absolutely engrossing, and is definitely artisitic in every sense of the word. If this film has one fault, it's an uneven tone: sometimes it's as campy as can be, sometimes it's deadly Frank-Miller-serious.
Good performances, especially by Samuel L. Jackson. Gabriel Macht fits the role of the classic comic book hero. A joy to watch.
