Review of The Spirit (2008) by Malachi M — 27 May 2012

I'll try to be quick here. The movie was charming, but it was too anti-climatic, in my opinion. I'm tempted to draw comparisons between this film and the superior Sin City, but to do so is a bit inadequate, since the two films carry different tones.

However, for Spirit's more light-hearted, and over-the-top presentation, the film opens strong but closes weak.
