Review of The Spirit (1987) by Jacob A — 26 Oct 2010
Visually Exxxtrodinary. But everything else about The Spirit is ludicrously wooden to the core. From the performances, to the the thrills, to the dialogue, to the incomprehensible plot. I remember when this film being advertised before it's release. Highly anticipated, and a huge let down. It shall remain amongst the other forgettable comic book adaptions, and in the shadow of some of the much, much greater ones.
