Underrated? Overrated? I don't know. However, I must confess I'm quite impressed and shocked with the general reaction towards The Spirit. While expecting a higher rating, at the same time there were some inconsistencies, as well as some weird and unbalanced mixture of genres. Bizarre one minute, dark-humored at the next one, "what-the-fuckish" several times... To consolidate a solid opinion towards this was hard. It was sure style over substance, but both were quite enjoyable!
