Review of The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008) by Jon B — 30 Aug 2009
Inventive fantasy movie, hamstrung a little by its limited locations (everything takes place in one creepy house) and it's slight overtones of childishness. Freddie Highmore is good in a dual role as twin brothers, the final battle is pretty exciting, and James Horner's score is lovely.
