Review of The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008) by June C — 03 May 2010

This was ok but seemed to be cashing in a fair bit on Harry Potter's mythological theme. I thought the acting was really poor but the kids (both Highmore's role). Most of the special effects looked good but there were quite a few moments where they just didn't quite line up correctly with the actors actions.

I imagine younger teenagers would get a fair bit out of this but it wasn't really outstanding.
