Eh. It's ok. A poor man's Harry Potter, which is a shame because while the source material isn't as rich, this cast is as capable and they are under utilized in favor of CG effects. That's always a disservice.

I know they were trying to pack a lot into one movie, but the whole thing felt underdeveloped. Also, some parts were scary for my 8 year old and yet she was able to predict the action.
