Review of The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008) by Tamsin P — 31 May 2011
A very enjoyable children's movie, with superb acting from Freddie Highmore, and good support from Canadian actors Martin Short and Seth Rogen, whose characters in any case are either hilarious or deeply annoying.
The film is definitely one to go up there with the family fantasies of the late 20th Century, such as Jumanji and Labyrinth.
