Solid children's fantasy. Had I been ten years younger I'd probably exit the theater saying "Cooooooool. Now where can I buy the entire toyline." But I have to remember that I'm a grown ass man and well they didn't make a toyline to tie into the film.
The movie had great creature designs and effects, and didn't dive too deep into childish cheesy fart jokes. This went straight for the fantasy and scares while trying to develop its own unique world of monsters and fairies and didn't waste any time doing it.
If all that doesn't do it for you then avoid it.
