Review of The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008) by Brian S — 12 Aug 2012

Not up to the same standard as some other movies of the same category during the last year. Directed to a younger audience.

Freddie Highmore that I have had to struggle with in a couple of movies does a great job. Playing himself can't be that easy and he does it!

One thing I can't really understand is why the book was switched out when they were supposed to take it to Mr. Spiderwick. That was never straightened out. Why would the house elf (or what ever he was) not want to see the book destroyed? Weird.
