Review of The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008) by Nicola C — 05 Aug 2009

I was quite surprised this got away with a PG rating; after seeing it, I'd think it would be better as a PG-13 rating. Not necessarily a movie that you'd want to bring young kids to. Special effects were good, Freddie Highmore playing two people turned out very well, and it was a good story.

I didn't read the book, so I don't know how true it was. Not sure it's a movie to rewatch, however.
