Review of The Spectacular Now (2013) by M A — 24 Dec 2013
This film is about a charismatic high school senior who meets a nice girl who changes his state of mind significantly. I didn't really know about this movie until about an hour before I watched it but I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was.
Its a great realistic approach to high school relationships, teen drinking, and poor parenting. The cast is mostly unknown but the performance are great. Definitely worth a watch!
