Review of The Spectacular Now (2013) by Jerome K — 21 Jan 2014
I initially wanted to see this movie thinking rising star Shailene Woodley would be the lead, but it's really about Miles Teller's character, and he definitely gave a noteworthy performance. I hope to see more from both of them in the future.
The writers of (500) Days of Summer deliver a film that isn't quite as charming or unique but still just as deep and sensitive. While being yet another coming-of-age story, it still felt genuine and full of heart.
