Review of The Spectacular Now (2013) by Bethechange — 01 Jan 2015
Wonderful film. The only reason it does not get 10 is that the screenplay does not have the capacity. Miles Teller was really excellent, adding wit and drama; but Shailene Woodley's charisma and honesty made this a very personal film, one which carries a message and a memory. We may all perceive this film differently, but a message will be carried by all; a feat few films achieve.
Watch this film; simply to feel if nothing else.
