Review of The Source Family (2013) by Art S — 10 Mar 2017

Fascinating documentary about a cult centered around a restaurant (featured in a scene in Annie Hall!) in 1970s Los Angeles. One of the things that makes this movie so good is the extensive film, photo and audio archive preserved by the members of the Family and made available to the filmmakers so they could capture what it was like to be a part of this strange though in many ways loving, welcoming, group.
