The Sound of Music brings magnificent setting and magnificent acting. Julie Andrews, as always, is breathtakingly fabulous as Maria, a young nun who has missed morning masses at her church. Her superior mother sends her off to be a governess for Captain Von Trap, who is played by the always majestic Christopher Plummer.
If anyone has not seen this movie, it is a classic for all time. The music makes me sing along every single day. I love the Sound of Music, and I will always remember this movie.
