Review of The Sound of Music (1965) by Charlie S — 23 Apr 2011
This is one of the best musicals I've ever seen. The story is great, the music is great, and it has enough memorable moments to last a lifetime. It's so groundbreaking, and so fun, it's hard not to like.
The Cinematography is outstanding, and it can get you to have plenty of different emotions. Out of all the movies I've ever reviewed, this is probably the most memorable, like I mentioned above. If I had to think of one flaw this movie had, it's that it could be pretty boring at times, but those scenes don't last very long, and they usually end off with a catchy song or dramatic moment, so it's not a big deal.
Overall, it's an amazing movie.
