Review of The Sound of Music (1965) by Hrant B — 29 Dec 2012
A great musical. This is one of those movies someone like me rolls their eyes at when they hear the plot. I had mixed feelings when I was taken to a Sound of Music sing along event. I knew it was a classic and I knew I would think it was "good" but oddly I even found it entertaining.
I actually was not bored and never had the urge to take out my iPhone and tune out which showed just how great this film really is. It is a very adaptable to everyone and even people like me who oppose warm cuddly sweetness in movies can enjoy it.
