Review of The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010) by Allan C — 09 Jul 2012
There was potential here, but the film quickly goes downhill becoming the same bland, though slick, kind of entertainment producer Jerry "National Treasure" Bruckheimer specializes in. Not that I expected a Disney film to be dark, but it would have been a much better film if it have copied "Nightwatch" more than it already did and taken even a slightly more dark or grungy tone.
It's not horrible, it's just "meh". Stick with the much darker "Nightwatch".
