With a genius idea of making a live-action version of the popular Mickey Mouse short in Fantasia and making it real and having an homage to it in the film, a wonderful script written by Matt Lopez, Mark Rosenthal and Lawrence Korner, a great cast headed by Nicolas Cage as Balthazar, Jay Baruchel as Dave, Alfred Molina as Horvath and Teresa Palmer as Becky, fantastic directing by Jon Turteltaub, exciting scenes and sequences and a majestic climax and finale, beautiful visual effects and an amazing pace and flow, The Sorcerer's Apprentice is a fun and wild ride full of magic and wonder all in one.
