"The Sorcerer's Apprentice" 10 Scale Rating: 6.0 (Solid Movie) ...
Not bad, but could have been so much better. Something just seemed to be missing from the movie. The story is a good one, the characters were pretty well done, the execution was solid ... something about it just keeps it from being great or really good.
Part of it could be Jay Baruchel. Usually I think he is a good actor, but in this he sort of grated on me a little. They should have went with someone else. I actually think the movie would be a half star higher if they had done so. I guess he was just TOO awkward?
