Review of The Song of Lunch (2010) by Joseph H — 25 Mar 2013
Alan Rickman does "morose" better than almost any other actor on stage or screen alive today. Ditto for Emma Thompson and "dignified." But this was not a song, it was a dirge ... I had to turn it off fifteen minutes into it.
I couldn't understand why Emma Thompson didn't excuse herself and slip out the bathroom window, if necessary, to get away from him. Mercifully, I had an easier option. *click.*.
