My wife and I saw this movie last night. It is extremely well done with a real story even though it is based on the life of Solomon from the bible. We laughed, we cried, and felt anger, sympathy, and hope for/with the characters.
The bonus to the movie are the clever ways it referenced the biblical story. For example, Jed's wife is Rose who lives in Sharron - the Rose of Sharon. Well worth the price of admission.
