Review of The Son of No One (2011) by Mike H — 21 Oct 2011
I haven't seen an Al Pacino film I have really liked in awhile, its been a long time, like 8 yrs. I think the last film I actually enjoyed him in was The Recruit. That was so long ago that Colin Farrell wasn't even a name yet. He was on his way up the bullshit ladder to fame and riches, and I wouldn't see Colin in another good film until Fright Night. Pacino's a great actor, its hard to watch him in movies that aren't brilliant beyond believe. Its good to see Tracey Morgan in a role like this, for once. This isn't the best cop movie Pacinos ever done. However Liotta, Binoche, Tatum, Holmes, & Morgan do and okay job here and I didn't mind watching this film, I haven't watched a lot of Channings films, so I didn't have any expectations really, I think he did and alright job here, I look forward to seeing some more of his stuff. I had low expectations and no hype going into this film, and it surprised me.
Movie Dick OVER & OUT.
