Review of The Soloist (2009) by Jhary O — 11 May 2010
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. There were times that the script seemed out of focus and some events were placed for random reasons, but as a whole, it came together nicely.
There were no overly dramatic moments and the cast stayed solid throughout the film. The turmoil and growth of both of the main characters was evident and nicely portrayed.
Im not sure if it was the music or the story, but if you didnt feel some tug on your heart while watching this movie, you have no soul.
