Review of The Soloist (2009) by Sean E — 08 Feb 2010
It was a better story than it was a movie. I felt that the director and writer went too far to "show me" how good of a story it is rather than tell a good story. After watching the movie, I read up on Steve Lopez and Nathaniel Ayers and discovered that the true life story is more touching and relevant than the movie is.
Great performances by Downey and Foxx.
