Review of The Soloist (2009) by Iris R — 16 Feb 2010
It was a really touching movie...witty and heartbreaking too. The character of Nathaniel Ayers was brilliant and talented. I haven't seen very many movies starring Robert Downey, Jr., but this one made me like him.
..great role. It's hard to imagine all the homeless people in LA, much less in all of the U.S. I believe there are many other homeless people like Ayers, who are intelligent and talented, but are undiscovered because of their invisible status.
Mental illness is tragic, and a lot of the people who suffer from it don't get help. Beautiful film!!
