Review of The Soloist (2009) by Mariah J — 06 Mar 2010
I'm a big fan of Joe Wright so I had been anticipating this movie for awhile. It was a little underwhelming though. I think it was partly because the story really wasn't that interesting for 2 hours.
The directing was really good and so was the acting. I think I actually preferred watching Robert Downey Jr. over Jamie Foxx. Oh and the music was GORGEOUS because the composer was the genius Dario Marianelli.
But overall it lacked something.
