Review of The Soloist (2009) by Rilla N — 13 Mar 2010
This was good, as it was bound to be with Jamie Foxx and RDj but it annoyed me because I found the character of Steve Lopez to be REALLY naive! I was yelling at him throughout the film. I wonder when he wrote the screenplay whether he realised just how naive he was coming off? Jamie Foxx is amazing though.
I however generally don't love out and out dramas - there is no colour or technique to comment on. I only ever watch these sorts of films once. Sorry, just my little rant about dramas.
