Review of The Soloist (2009) by Karine M — 20 Apr 2010
Jamie Foxx plays a great role here as does Robert Downey Jr. The movie is very well acted and the story is interesting, but something about it made me cynical, that perhaps they played out this character just for the acting value, and let the rest of the movie revolve around that.
At the same time, Downey's character is just as interesting as Foxx's. You'll either love it or hate it.
