Enjoyed watching Downey and his character. For the most part however, I found the movie unrewarding and sometimes preachy. I think Foxx was reaching for his character (too single-dimensional) and didn't deliver the knockout blow I was expecting.
I wasn't sold on the friendship the film was trying to portray. Watchable because of Downey... but I was looking for something a little deeper and it didn't make it.
