Review of The Soloist (2009) by Shaun H — 15 Aug 2010
When released, the film is actually have great momentum. First, it's based from a true story, second, are Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. are in top form, Foxx has just won Best Actor Oscar that year, and Downey Jr.
just did a celebration of the Iron Man successful at the time. Unfortunately, the film is fully overrated, tells the story with "slowly", meaningful dialogues between the lines, so that inspiration which is the most important things become less touching.
In fact, the life story of Nathaniel Ayers had such great potential for bonding in the hearts of the audience!
