Review of The Soloist (2009) by Grant H — 13 Jan 2017
Ok movie. The film has very noble intentions of portraying the real struggles with mental disabilities and Los Angeles' overcrowding of the homeless population with not enough programs to assist, but it can't seem to choose which to focus on, resulting in a slow-paced, uninspired drama whose main selling point is a pair of phenomenal lead performances from Foxx and Downey Jr.
