Review of The Soloist (2009) by Kat B — 07 Apr 2010

I wanted to like this move, but it fell flat for me. The storytelling was not done well, really, it was boring and I lost interest. I don't even remember what happened in the end, I just remember I left it at the end disappointed, and felt that the ending fell short.

However, Jamie Foxx and RDJ both had solid performances and did all they could with what they were given, I think. The cinematography was also good. It was really the direction of the storytelling and plot that failed. It just didn't work, which is a shame.
