Review of The Social Network (2010) by Phil P — 03 May 2013
The modern style of non-linear story telling in the Social Network is flawlessly executed, though snappy fast paced dialogue and excellent performances from the cast are the high highlights of the film.
The unsatisfying part of the film is the simple fact that you never feel as if you truly get an insight in to Mark Zuckerberg's character. The film is much more concerned with observing him for a distance, often through the eyes of his of those contesting the ownership of facebook.
In the end more focus on Zuckerberg himself could have driven The Social Network to great heights.
