Review of The Social Network (2010) by Brandon W — 24 Feb 2015
The Social Network is an astonishing movie that is well directed by David Fincher and it has amazing writing from Aaron Sorkin. Jesse Eisenberg is just excellent and so is the rest of the crew. Jesse Eisenberg may be using the same voice tone for the whole movie, but he was doing it so well and so interesting that it's hard not to get bored which is rare to see.
The story is very riveting to watch even though I heard that there's some inaccurate parts in it which I also heard that the writer wasn't really doing a "true story" movie on it which makes it fine.
The characters are very memorable, it's original, and it has some twists in it that are effective. The soundtrack is really good which I'm glad that it got an Oscar for it. It also does make an unlikeable main character, but I was still invested in him and it never took me out of the movie which I'm glad that it did very well.
After watching it, I thought about it for a long time, and just like Gone Girl, it left an impression on me.
