By far the worst film of the year and it's simply the director's fault. Production was rushed so they didn't shoot the entire script (10 to 15% I believe was the amount not filmed). And because of that, They went into the editing room with a ton of narrative problems and no way to fix them. If they had properly shot the film, Those issues would not be there and it wouldn't have been as bad of a movie. I expected an experienced director like Alfredson to have known better than that.

Sadly, I think even with those issues fixed, The movie still would have been mediocre. The characters felt so fake and the cast didn't do that good of a job. Plus the main villain was laughably bad. And there were too many dumb sub-plots introduced, Not enough focus on actually establishing the characters.
