I watched this after I read the reviews. Partly because I wanted to see a film and partly because nothing else on was of particular interest. Well I have to say I don't really get the poor reviews.
I didn't read the book which may have made a difference but it appeared to have a solid back story and was very watchable. Bad reviews destroy a film before it has a chance but this was definitely watchable.
