Horrible, manipulative and very pedesrian, The Smurfs is a lame attempt to bring the blue buds to the big screen, The Smurfs accidentally fall into a portal to modern day New York, and must avoid Gargamel while trying to find their way home.
Instead of being hip, the scriptwriters decided to go lame, and produce a story which produces enough cheese that would feed Holland. Plus there are plot holes galore, etc etc. Poor Neil Patrick Harris! I wonder what on earth he was thinking,.
