Even though I'm impressed with the visuals, the animation, and even Hank Azaria's great performance, The Smurfs coming to America seemed like a decent idea, but then it throws in the ludicrous sub-plot starring Neil Patrick Harris trying to maintain his job with Sofia Vergara as the boss pressuring the employee.
Also, keep an eye out for a few notable stars before the climatic battle.
