Review of The Smurfs (2011) by Chloe B — 05 Feb 2012

I don't know why most of you are saying that this movie sucks. I saw this movie in theaters shortly after it was released and I thought it was really good. Sure, it is childish. But these are the SMURFS we are talking about. You shouldn't expect them to not be childish. I mean, this movie is for children.

For my honest opinion of this movie. Sure, the smurfs in here aren't the same as they were in the older show. I was a little disappointed about that. For example, I am a Jokey Smurf fan, and when I saw how they made him in that movie. I wasn't happy. But there are some funny parts in this movie, and at some parts I couldn't stop laughing. They also made Clumsy Smurf pretty different in some ways, but in other ways he is still the same. I honestly think that in this movie, Brainy Smurf is a little less annoying then he should have been. But still. I think this is a great movie for kids about 13 and under, but this is surely a movie that any smurf fan can enjoy.
